All about India
The India text was perfect for my 4th graders! We used it to intro and get some background knowledge before reading biographies about Gandhi and Mother Teresa. Pictures added to the understanding of the text as well. I also used this text to intro literature circle jobs - word wizard, connector, summarizer, etc. The text lent itself well all around!

Learn Brighton is AMAZING!!!
Learn Bright is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I really wish we would have about this website sooner!!! Learn Bright makes homeschooling a complete breeze!! My children loooove the easy to use material and the interactive videos. The lessons actually plans actually come with classroom procedures that help me as a parent to know how long each lesson should take, as well as the material we’ll need for each class which by the way is always simple material that we already have in our arts and crafts selection. The step-by-step lesson plans also helps parents and children understand the objective of the lesson as well as outlines each standard. I’m in awe of this website. The representatives are very responsive, understanding and eager to assist with any issues that may arise with the system. I had a small issue, I was able to call and speak with a rep the same day!! The issue was rectified the very next day!!!!! I’m sooo grateful for Learn Bright!!!!

A really great recourse for homeschooling families

Too basic
My daughter wanted to learn about snow but this didn't have much information in it to explain snow or snowflakes just questions to ask about snow experiences. The activity is for a classroom setting.

Hi Jen, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that the lesson didn't match your expectations. I admit that the preschool lessons are more geared toward a preschool classroom setting more than for individual use. It wasn't meant to explain snow, just to introduce young kids to that type of weather, but that is a good idea for a lesson plan. From what I can tell, we don't have a lesson with that strict a focus. We could add a lesson on snow, perhaps for 1st–2nd-graders, to the queue for new lesson topics!
