Description
Our Spell Short “e” Words lesson plan teaches students strategies for spelling short “e” words. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner to create flashcards to help them practice spelling words; the students take turns drawing a card and having their partner spell the word. Students are also asked to match words that have short “e” sounds to the correct corresponding image.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge and application of grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
