Description
Our Silent Letters lesson plan explores the presence of silent letter sounds in the English language. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner to create as many words as they can, highlighting the silent letters. Students are also asked to fill in the blanks in provided words with a silent letter in order to make a full word.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to recognize and identify words with silent letters. The students will also be able to correctly spell grade-level words that include silent letters.
