Our Sequencing lesson plan teaches students about chronological order and teaches students words used to sequence things in writing. Students practice identifying the sequence of events and writing using the sequencing vocabulary.
Our Sequencing lesson plan develops reading comprehension and written expression skills. It does this by exploring the concept of chronological order. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively to complete an activity in which they rearrange sentences to make them chronological. Students are also asked to choose the sentences which would logically come next in a story.
