Description
Our Sentence Basics lesson plan introduces the basic parts of a sentence and writing complete sentences. Students build on incomplete sentences as a foundation for learning sentence basics. During this lesson, students are asked to create sentences from cut out pieces of paper with words on them, in order to allow them to arrange a sentence without having to come up with it completely on their own. Students are also asked to rewrite provided words correctly on each line to make a sentence, capitalizing the first word of the sentence and using a period to end the sentence.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the basic parts or a sentence and write complete sentences.
