Description
Our Reading/Comprehending Informational Texts lesson plan teaches students how to better read and understand a text using targeted questions. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a partner to read a text given to them by their teacher and create 10 questions based on that text for another pair of students to answer. Students are also asked to read given passages and answer specific questions as they read, demonstrating their ability to process and understand information as they read it.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to read and comprehend informational texts, including history/social studies, science, and technical texts.
