Our Evidence, Analysis, and Inference lesson plan teaches students how to analyze text, identify evidence for specific claims, and make inferences based on a text or passage.
During this lesson, students are asked to read a given passage, write what is inferred by the passage, and cite the evidence supporting their conclusion, demonstrating their ability to apply the skills taught in this lesson. Students are also asked to read several example passages and answer questions about them, using their inference skills.
