Description
Our Describing Settings and Events lesson plan teaches students how to effectively identify and describe the settings and events of a story or other text. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner to complete charts for both setting and events in which they describe the setting or event and write how it affects or influences the story. Students are also asked to determine whether specific details are related to setting or event.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe in depth a setting or event in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text.
