Comparing Similar Stories

A very clear and easy way to teach the students how to compare characters and settings in similar stories. The passages were just the right length for the students to be engaged, but not overwhelmed.

trying to help my kids

The kids seem to enjoy doing the lessons and it was easy just print them off. I would like to see something for new readers. Perhaps I have just not explored your website enough. Thanks

During this lesson, students are asked to read example stories and answer questions about them to compare them. Students are also asked to list the steps for comparing stories using vocabulary from the lesson.

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to identify the steps of comparing similar stories and will be able to successfully identify similarities in stories after comparison.
