Description
Our Character Types lesson plan introduces students to the different types of characters found in most stories or novels. As students read, they will encounter different characters and should be able to recognize how each character type affects the outcome of the story. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively and use their creative writing skills to write a story with a partner using at least five different character types. Students are also asked to individually match character traits with the correct character type in order to demonstrate their understanding.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define and identify the major character types found in literature pieces, short stories, and novels.
