Description
Our Whole Numbers as Fractions lesson plan teaches students about converting whole numbers into fractions and how to use them. During this lesson, students are asked to convert numbers into equivalent fractions. Students are also asked to answer practice problems in which they do things like “write 3 as a fraction with 2 in the denominator” to ensure they are familiarized with all lesson vocabulary and how to write whole numbers as fractions.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to express whole numbers as fractions and recognize fractions that are equivalent to whole numbers.
