Description
Our Scale Drawing Lesson Plan applies knowledge of ratios and proportions to drawing and/or designing to scale. This lesson also introduces how to identify the actual sizes of things using scale as a guide. Students are asked to use the knowledge gained in this lesson, along with their creativity, to draw their dream home with another classmate, which they then share with the class. Students are also asked to individually complete practice problems in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to use ratios and proportions to draw and/or design to scale, and identify the actual sizes of things using scale as a guide.
