Description
Our Read and Write Decimals to Thousandths lesson plan teaches students about decimals, including how to read numbers that contain them and what they represent. During this lesson, students are asked to write a decimal in numerical form, in word form, and describe a real-world use of the unit for that decimal. Students are also asked to match the written form of a number with the decimal form in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson material.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to read and write decimals to the thousandths place.
