Description
Our Rational Number Word Problems lesson plan teaches students strategies for solving word problems with rational numbers. During this lesson, students are asked to complete a collaborative activity in which they and three other students take turns completing one of four steps to solve word problems. Students are also asked to individually complete practice problems in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to apply a four-step method to solving word problems with rational numbers.
