Description
Our Put Rational Numbers in Order lesson plan teaches students strategies for determining the order of a set of rational numbers. During this lesson, students are asked to practice categorizing numbers by deciding whether they fall into the following categories of types of numbers: counting, natural, integer, and rational. Students are also asked to practice placing given sets of numbers in order from least to greatest, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define an integer and place integers in sequential order from least to greatest and greatest to least.
