Description
Our Percentages – Finding the Whole lesson plan teaches students how to find the whole in percentage problems. Students learn to do this using the proportion method. During this lesson, students are asked to solve example proportion problems using the methods taught during this lesson. Students are also asked to complete an exercise in which they come up with their own proportion problems for their classmates to solve.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to calculate the missing whole of percentage problems using the proportion method.
