Description
Our Percentages – Finding the Percent lesson plan teaches students how to use the proportion method to find the percent in a percentage math problem. During this lesson, students are asked to complete a creative activity in which they write their won percentage problems and then assign each answer a color, which is then used to color in a picture. Students are also asked to solve practice problems where they have to use the proportion method to find the percentage.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to calculate the missing percent of percentage problems using the proportion method.
