Description
Our Word Endings lesson plan discusses word endings, how endings change words, how to read these words correctly. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively on an activity in which they add endings to different words to change their meaning and write the new words down, trying to create as many as possible. Students are also asked to independently use words with given endings correctly in sentences along with other practice activities, demonstrating their understanding.
At the end of this lesson, students will be able to read words with inflectional endings, and identify frequently occurring root words and their inflectional forms.
