Description
Our Asking for Clarification lesson plan teaches students how to ask for clarification in an effective way. During this lesson, students are asked to practice working in a group to ask and answer clarification questions both from a list and that they come up with themselves. Students are also asked to read passages and then choose the best clarification question for that passage from a list, demonstrating their understanding of clarifying questions and how to best use them.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask for clarification and further explanation as needed about the topics and texts under discussion.
