Description
Our Does (x,y) solve an equation? lesson plan teaches students how to determine whether a given ordered pair satisfies an equation. During this lesson, students are asked to match ordered pairs to the equation that makes it true, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material. Students are also asked to decide whether a given ordered pair satisfies a given equation and tell why.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to substitute an ordered pair into an equation(s) to determine if it is a solution.
