Description
Our Linking Words, Phrases, Clauses lesson plan teaches students how to properly and effectively use linking words, phrases, and clauses. During this lesson, students are asked to work together to build sentences using given phrases and their own linking words, demonstrating their ability to use linking words correctly in their writing. Students are also asked to choose the best transition words or phrases to fill in blanks in a paragraph.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to link ideas within and across categories of information using words, phrases, and clauses as they write informative essays/texts.
