Description
Our Summarizing Numerical Data Sets lesson plan teaches students how to read data sets and determine the number of observations found in them. During this lesson, students are asked to look at data sets and determine how many observations are found in each, demonstrating their ability to read various types of data sets. Students are also asked to work independently to go online and find 3 dot plots and 3 bar graphs, and determine the number of observations in the data sets.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to report the number of observations in data sets.
