Description
Our Ending Sounds lesson plan teaches students about ending sounds, including the fact that sometimes different letters or letter pairs create similar ending sounds. During this lesson, students are asked to practice matching the correct ending sound to the picture (for example, the would match “crab” and “b”), demonstrating their understanding of what an ending sound is and what letters they correspond to.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to match letters and sounds at the end of a word and will be able to recognize similar ending consonant sounds and the letters that represent them (e.g. luck, book).
