Description
Our Asking and Answering Questions lesson plan teaches students strategies for asking and answering effective questions about a topic or presentation. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner to come up with questions based on a specific presentation, demonstrating their ability to think critically about what questions would be most helpful for gaining understanding. Students are also asked to read questions and match them with the type of question that they are: clarify comprehension, gather more information, or deepen understanding.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about what a speaker says in order to clarify comprehension, gather additional information, or deepen understanding of a topic or issue.
