Description
Our Drawing Conclusions from Discussions lesson plan teaches students strategies for drawing accurate conclusions from discussions. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a group of classmates to hold a discussion about a given topic and then answer questions about that discussion to help them draw conclusions and think critically about the discussion they had. Students are also asked to read a discussion and identify the conclusions that the four participants may have had, demonstrating their understanding that different people may draw different conclusions from the same discussion.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to review the key ideas expressed and draw conclusions in light of information and knowledge gained from the discussions.
