Description
Our Put Fractions in Order lesson plan teaches students how to compare fractions and put them in order. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a partner to use a set of three common fractions and put them in order by using and explaining the three strategies on a poster, including illustrations. Students are also asked to use the greater than, less than, and equal to symbols to compare fractions, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to compare two fractions with different numerators and different denominators.
