Description
Our More Inferences lesson plan teaches students strategies for making better inferences from the text that they read. During this lesson, students are asked to work independently to go on a “WebQuest,” where they do their own research on the lesson topic, strengthening their online research and reading comprehension skills. Students are also asked to read passages and answer questions about them which require them to make inferences.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to cite textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text.
