During this lesson, students work collaboratively with a partner to read a passage and then create, ask, and answer questions using each of the question words (who, what, when, where, why). After practicing creating their own questions, they also get to answer pre-written questions about the text they are studying. At the end of the lesson, students will be able to successfully ask and answer questions that demonstrate their comprehension of non-fiction – all while having fun in the process!
