Description
Our Irregularly Spelled Words lesson plan teaches students about some irregularly spelled words that they may come across while reading. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a partner to find 25 irregularly spelled words and define them, use them in a sentence, and learn how to pronounce them. Students are also asked to practice correctly spelling various irregularly spelled words from this lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to recognize, read and spell grade-appropriate irregularly-spelled words.
