Description
Our Similar and Congruent Figures lesson plan introduces students to similar and congruent figures, and each concept is defined using illustrations and mathematical equations. During this lesson, students are asked to identify whether given shapes are similar or congruent in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson material. Students are also asked to answer questions about and solve problems involving both similar and congruent figures.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to determine if two shapes are similar or congruent based on an image as well as measurements.
