Description
Our Figures of Speech lesson plan introduces students to many different types of figures of speech. After being introduced to the definitions of different types of figures of speech, students are asked to work collaboratively to write sentences for each type, utilizing their creativity and testing their understanding of the concepts. Students are also asked to identify figures of speech in text and write a short story using at least 5 different types of figures of speech.
At the end of this lesson, students will be able to define figures of speech and identify and recognize the different types of speech.
