Description
Our Writing Resolutions – Grades 1-3 lesson plan helps students write endings or resolutions to their stories, personal or otherwise. They will also learn to identify the resolutions of for the stories they read or those read aloud to them. During this lesson, students will be asked to work collaboratively, in a group, to create a story where the first student tells the beginning, the next student the middle, and the third student the ending, allowing them to use their creative storytelling skills and imagination. Students are also asked to identify whether sentences belong in the beginning, middle, or end of a story.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to provide an effective conclusion based on narrative experiences and events.
