Description
Our Ratio and Rate Reasoning lesson plan introduces students to uses for ratios, proportions, and rates, and how to use each. During this lesson, students are asked to complete a fun activity in which they decide which recipe they would use to make different numbers of cookies, teaching them a practical application of these reasoning skills. Students are also asked to individually complete practice problems in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to use ratios, proportions, and rates to solve real-world problems.
