Description
Our Subtraction lesson plan introduces the basics of subtraction to young students. This interactive lesson demonstrates how to use subtraction within 20 (or 100), solve word problems using subtraction, and work with subtraction equations. Students are asked to use counters to help visualize the subtraction concepts they’re learning. Students are also asked to individually complete practice problems in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to use subtraction within 20 (or 100), solve word problems using subtraction, and work with subtraction equations.
