Description
Our Meaning Through Words and Phrases – Grade 2 lesson plan for grade 2 teaches students about alliteration, rhyme, and more. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a partner to correctly rewrite mixed-up sentences for examples of alliteration. Students are also asked to read example sentences and tell whether they are an example of alliteration, rhymes, or repeated lines.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe how words and phrases supply rhythm and meaning in a story, poem, or song.
